The community foundation field across Europe is richly diverse in form, function and stage of development. This atlas, which is a ‘live’ resource and regularly updated presents information on 736 community foundations and the support infrastructure where available.

The Atlas below enables viewing and searching by geography and the accompanying Directory is ordered by country. Both provide information on name, location, website, social media channels. They have been produced in cooperation with relevant support organisations and are regularly updated. Please inform us if any information is incorrect or missing.

Please note that this remains an under-representation of the field in Europe as there are some that do not wish to be cited in the Atlas, or for various reasons reliable information is not available. Our research indicates that there are more than 850 community foundations in 26 European countries.
