The National Foundation for Civil Society Development plays a pivotal role in strengthening Croatia’s philanthropic sector. It is dedicated to enhancing capacity through technical support, capacity building, and policy advocacy, ensuring that organizations can effectively address local needs and drive sustainable development. As the initiator and supporter of the Croatian Foundation Forum “ForWellBeing”, the Foundation has been instrumental in uniting over 40 foundations—including community foundations—into a collaborative network. This Forum serves as a national platform for sharing best practices, exchanging ideas, and advocating for improved conditions for foundations across Croatia.
